West Palm Beach Inner City Outings is a program of the Sierra Club dedicated to exposing urban South Florida youth to the wonders of nature. Our group includes participants from Palm Beach County and surrounding areas. We are led completely by volunteer leaders who dedicate some of their time to take children who would not otherwise have the opportunity on safe and fun outdoor trips.
Some of our great trips have been to Myakka River State Park, Johnathan Dickinson State Park, Big Cypress National Preserve, Everglades National Park, and Loggerhead Marinelife Center! We love to camp, hike, canoe, learn about Florida’s flora and fauna, have fun and make friends while we are exploring!
To check out the great trips we have coming up take a look at our Upcoming Events page. To look at some of our past trips, click on our Photos & Movies page. If you are interested in becoming an adult volunteer for West Palm Beach Inner City Outings choose the Volunteering link.
Lastly, if you like what you see and think our group is as great as we do, please consider making a donation to help us continue bringing nature to our youth!! Thank You!!
