It’s a big, beautiful world!
You know it. We know it. But there are a lot of urban youth who
don't know it yet. Inspiring Connections Outdoors* is a volunteer
organization that gets low-income youth out of the city to
experience and explore the great outdoors.

Trips
We lead 25 to 30 outings each year, including day hikes, car camping, backpacking and snow trips. Check out our photo gallery to see what we do and our calendar to see what’s coming up.
Partnership
ICO conducts outdoor trips in partnership with schools and community groups throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We serve youth of all ages from diverse communities and backgrounds.
Get Involved
We are always looking for motivated individuals to help make these opportunities possible. Our program’s success depends on active volunteers dedicated to getting urban youth out into nature.
