• Blue Jay Point
• Canoeing the Neuse River from Falls Dam to Buffalo Road -- Canoe rental and shuttle offered by Pro Canoe.
• Tubing the Dan River -- Tube and shuttles can be arranged at The Danbury General Store (336-593-8780). They will shuttle you to Seven-Island Bridge where you can then float 2.5 to 3.0 hours to Moratock Park. Call to confirm.
• Horse Back Riding. Some groups have used Camp Kanata.
• Uwharrie National Forest

Possible Overnight Trips

• Crowders Mountain State Park
• Virginia Creeper Trail and Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area -- In 2002, Teen Challenge used Adventure Damascus for outfitting and shuttle service.
• Hammock's Beach State Park

• Linville Gorge -- Requires a permit from 5/1 until 10/31. Call 828-652-4841 the month prior to the trip.
• Stone Mountain State Park
