The Annual Atlanta ICO Horizon Theater Fundraiser
event is getting closer (May 27th, 2008)! We have plenty
of tickets available, so please mark your calendars, and
get in touch with Erin Bracey to order tickets (contact
info below).
Horizon
Theater in Little Five Points continues their support
of our group by donating a night and all the tickets to
one of their 2008 shows "The Clean House" (description
below).
This is a wonderful event for Atlanta ICO in generating
funds to continue our outdoor trips with inner city children.
This ends up being our largest fundraiser of the year, providing
almost half of our operating expenses.
Please join us on May 27th to enjoy a remarkable
play, refreshments, and learn about and support a good cause.
Tickets are $16, and please feel free to request more for
others you know are interested.

“One of the finest and funniest new plays”
– The New York Times
A sparkling comedy-drama about fighting the dirt in your
life, finding true love at any age, and the importance of
a good joke. Matilde, a Brazilian housekeeper, hates to
clean and instead spends her days trying to dream up the
perfect joke. As her employer Lane’s perfectly rational
life and marriage collapses around her, the world begins
to look like a mysterious and magical place. A life-affirming
story that explores the humor and sadness of one household
and reminds us that we may never fully understand the jokes
life plays, but the wisest response is to have a good laugh
anyway
