Youth Outdoors Legacy Fund

Combining the resources of many donors, the Youth Outdoor Leadership Fund provides assistance to non-profit organizations that are reaching out to urban kids to get them involved in outdoor activities.  Historically, the Outdoor Community has been very involved in stewardship efforts to protect special places and reaching out to special people, getting today's youth passionately involved in outdoor activities, is a natural extension to the effort to protect resources and creating tomorrow's environmental leaders.

 

 

 

Outdoor equipment maker North Face  via their Planet Explore Fund  supporting non -profit community organizations that break down the barriers to getting youth outdoors.

 

Outdoor equipment retailer REI  dedicates a portion of its operating profits to help protect and restore the environment, increase access to outdoor activities, and encourage involvement in responsible outdoor recreation. REI is a major supporter of ICO groups with funds, gear and expertise.
