DIRECTIONS:

From Baltimore

Start on I-395 S

Take ramp onto I-95 N toward NEW YORK (Portions toll)

Take LEFT exit #64B/TOWSON/I-695 onto I-695 W

Take exit #32B/BEL AIR/US-1 onto BELAIR RD (US-1)

Turn RIGHT on FORGE RD

Arrive at GUNPOWDER FALLS STATE PARK, on the LEFT

OUTING HIGHLIGHTS:

The weather was perfect. Ken and Kate at Chakra Cycles were, once again, quite helpful and accommodating, even letting us use their picnic tables for lunch. The kids enjoyed the bike ride and were interested in the nature scavenger hunt. There was time on the bike ride to chat with each of the kids. On the scavenger hunt, the kids came up with several answers to each question.

OUTING SUGGESTIONS:

Plan and delegate lunchtime duties at the beginning of day. Have better planned stops and a plan to regroup at every stop.
